The hours are rapidly ticking away. Soon I will be flying to the Philippines. I would not be looking forward to this year working in Palawan if it weren't for my friends and family. Words cannot express my appreciation to all who have sponsored me financially. I am also grateful to those who have been praying and made a commitment to pray for me, and to everyone who has shared words of encouragement and wisdom.
My itinerary goes as follows:
Depart from Atlanta, GA 8:20 am - Arrive Seattle, WA 10:51 am
Depart Seattle, WA 12:00 pm - Arrive Portland, OR 12:50 pm
Depart Portland, OR 5:50 pm - Arrive Los Angeles, CA 8:05 pm
Depart Los Angeles, CA 11:50 pm - Arrive Seoul, Korea 6:15 am
Depart Seoul, Korea 8:10 am - Arrive Manila, Philippines 11:05 am
Depart Manila, Philippines 5:50 pm - Arrive Puerto Princesa, Philippines 7:05 pm
~5 hour drive from Puerto Princesa - Brooke's Point, Palawan.
~2 hour hike from Brooke's Point - Kementian, Palawan.
I'm getting more and more scared, sad, and increasingly eager as each minute ticks by. I'm so thankful that I can trustfully place my future in the hands of a wonderful God.
